Somewhere in Central Texas, in a region called the Hill Country; there is a man on a hillside overlooking a small ranch, this man is called The Grand Smokey.  He has been away for many years, for all the reasons that young men leave home.  Now, with the help of Chris Reeves (who is the best guitarist in Texas) and Patrick Devaney (legendary soundman of DUP studios in Burnet, TX), inspiration has become reality. We think these songs capture the essence of the people and places that they are about.  This album is written of, by, and for the people of the Texas Hill Country. We like it, and we hope ya'll will too!!
